Funeral Plans
What is it?
A Funeral Plan allows you to arrange and pay for your own funeral in advance and is fixed at today’s prices. It is a popular way to plan your funeral whilst, at the same time, protecting your loved ones from the stress and uncertainty that may arise with your final farewell.
Who Can Buy a Plan and What are Your Payment Options?
All our plans are available to any UK resident over the age of 18. You can pay the plan in full by cash, debit or credit card. Alternatively, you can choose to spread the cost over 12 months at no additional cost. If you are between the ages of 50 and 74 you can take out a plan using our Fixed Monthly Payments option.
How Our Plans Work
If you have paid the full amount, your chosen funeral will be provided on your death. If you are paying your plan through a payment plan or instalment option, see our Terms and Conditions that explain at what stage you will be entitled to the funeral specified in your plan. We put all of the money from each plan, less the administration fee included within the cost, into an individual whole-of-life policy with our preferred provider; Scottish Friendly. When you die, the money is released so that your funeral can be provided.
What Happens in the Event of my Passing?
On taking out the plan, please make sure that you have informed a family member or representative so that in the unfortunate event of your passing they will be aware of the need to inform us of this, by writing to us at the following address: Suite 2A, Blackthorn House, St Pauls Square, Birmingham, B3 1RL, via email at info@cashmoney.uk or by telephone on 0330 133 1333.
When do I Receive my Plan Documents?
We will send you an email upon completion of your application, we will then post your membership pack with your unique customer number and all relevant documents within 28 days of the plan start date. You should keep this in a safe place and let your family or representative know where it is kept.
Can I Change my Plan?
If you make changes to your plan after the plan start date, and the cost of the new total of services is more than the value of the plan, then you will have to pay the difference. You can make changes to your plan or notify us about any other change in detail (such as change of address) by writing to us at: : Suite 2A, Blackthorn House, St Pauls Square, Birmingham, B3 1RL. via email at info@cashmoney.uk or by telephone on 0330 133 1333. There is no administration fee for making changes to your plan.
What if I Cancel my Plan?
We are confident that this will not happen, but just in case you want to, you can cancel your plan and receive a full refund with no obligation within 30 days of receipt of your plan documents. If you decide to cancel your plan after 30 days of receipt of your plan documents and have chosen to pay in full then please contact us and any monies paid, less the cancellation charge of £499, will be refunded. If you are paying by fixed monthly payments and decide to cancel your plan, there is no cancellation charge and no monies will be refunded. Please see our full terms and conditions for more details.
